What is Uber Pro?
Uber Pro is Uber’s loyalty and rewards program for drivers, launched in the UK in 2019. It’s designed to recognise drivers who offer quality service and reward drivers loyalty through a tiered system with discounts and benefits.
There are four Uber Pro Reward tiers you can quality for and your tier status is determined by how many points you have. These are the 4 Uber Pro tiers:
Blue – all drivers who sign up with Uber UK automatically enter in at the Blue level and receive its rewards
Gold – with 600 points or more (700 outside London)
Platinum – with 1,100 points or more (1,300 outside London)
Diamond – with 1,600 points or more (2,000 outside London)
Each tier unlocks greater rewards – from priority support to free tuition and EV charging discounts. You earn points by completing trips and maintaining service quality.
How do the Uber Pro tiers work?
To move up from the blue tier and qualify for either Gold, Platinum or Diamond tiers, you’ll need to:
1. Maintain quality standards
You will have a minimum 4.85-star driver rating (based on your last 600 rated trips)
You will have a maximum 4% cancellation rate or below (based on the last 30 days)
Note: If you cancelled trips at the pickup location because your passengers didn’t show up or for safety reasons, it wouldn’t count against your cancellation rate.
2. Earn points by completing trips
Each completed trip earns 1 point – or 2 points during peak hours:
Weekdays: 6am–10am
Friday & Saturday: 10pm–4am
At two trips per hour, you’d need to drive:
~19 hours/week to reach Gold
~35 hours/week for Platinum
~50 hours/week for Diamond
IMPORTANT: Uber Pro is a rolling program, meaning drivers must earn enough points and maintain a high-quality rating each month to keep or move up a level and continue receiving benefits.

About Splend
At Splend, we believe in drivers. We know their vehicles need to work harder than most; that they drive more miles than most; that their insurance is hefty; their maintenance costs high and that they can face unreasonable finance rates – which is a heavy load to carry on their own.
That’s why at Splend, we exist to support rideshare drivers with a new model, that takes all those car ownership costs, and provides them for less, with lower purchase prices, better rates, lower servicing and insurance costs – all for one weekly repayment, all in one place.
