How do we calculate Uber earning potential?

Gross earnings shown in our calculations are total estimated weekly earnings you could make driving a particular car with Uber. Net refers to the Gross amount minus the amount you would pay for the car with Splend on the plan chosen. Neither of these amounts take into account Uber commissions, taxes, or charging costs, which you should factor into any estimations of take home earnings.

Earnings are calculated using an approximate split of rides per eligible Uber categories for this vehicle based on the number of hours per week and an approximated split of short and long trips.

Split of short and long trips are estimated based on the type of vehicle and category eligibility (for example vehicles eligible for Uber XL are likely to do a higher percentage of long trips due to being booked for Airport transfers).

Please note, this is meant as a guide only and is not a representation nor guarantee of the exact earnings you will earn in a week in any type of vehicle.

The table below shows the assumptions that have been used to create earnings potential.
